Where should we draw the line?

As you might have noticed, I made a list of films and TV-shows that you can without question use in this MEP group.

I hope you all know that we are, in general, a fantasy and periodical movie -MEP group. Now, I was thinking that where should we draw the line in the periodical films?

I personally think that the beginning of the 20th century (aka. 1900) including the WWI should be included but what about from 30s to 50s, aka the WWII area?
Or should we draw the line at 1930?


And, as a friendly reminder, we really don't use sci-fi movies and those fantasy movies that are quite modern. So I'd personally prefer if you wouldn't use movies such as Thor, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Star Trek etc.

We can consider doing a special MEP with these kind of footage in some point but in general, I'd prefer traditional fantasy movies that are set to a land far, far away.

Well I think it's ok to use films to the 1960s but not newer

Yeah, just my opinion, but I wouldn't want to use anything past the 30's/40's.

If you guys decide to, then that's cool, but that's my personal preference for this group.

So, WWII is okay?

Then e.g. Atonement could be used.
